In this article, we discuss five ways to maximize your fiber blowing distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-massimizza-la-distanza-di-soffiaggio-della-fibra-in-cinque-modi\">Maximize fiber blowing distance in five ways<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. CLEAN AND LUBRICATE THE DUCT PROPERLY<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sand and dust mixed with lubrication will block the fiber and cause unnecessary friction, which negatively affects the fiber blowing distance. Make sure the duct is clean and dry before sending two or more sponges with proper lubrication through the duct. Depending on the fiber blowing conditions, the blowing distance can be improved by 50 % or more simply by cleaning and lubricating the duct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. DO NOT FILL THE DUCT CAPACITY ABOVE THE 70%<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#039;s important to ensure plenty of space between the cable and the inside of the duct, as this makes the fiber blowing process smoother. The right setup will save you time and money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. DELIVER AIR CORRECTLY<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you use more air than necessary, you risk running out before reaching your intended distance. Why blow a shorter distance due to incorrect air usage?<br><br>Gradually increase the air pressure by 2 bars as the cable speed decreases. Wait and watch. You&#039;ll see greater progress with the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. USE THE CORRECT COMPRESSOR. THE MAGIC STARTS WHEN YOU CAN MAINTAIN A PRESSURE OF 10 BAR<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The right compressor ensures the quality and success of your fiber blowing job. The compressor you choose must be able to produce more air than necessary.<br><br>Being able to maintain a constant pressure of 10 bar is important when choosing a compressor.<br><br>If you cannot maintain this pressure, it means that your compressor cannot produce enough air to reach the distance, making it the wrong compressor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the air is used faster than the compressor can keep up, the pressure will drop and you have a compressor that is too small.<br><br>So, to maximize your fiber blowing work, the right compressor is vital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. USE THE CORRECT SIZE MACHINE FOR YOUR CHOSEN CABLE AND CONDUIT<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using the right machine protects the fiber. A small machine may not have enough power, and a large machine may have too much power, which can damage the fragile fiber.
