Excel application for TIER1 optical certification
TIER1 is an easy-to-use Excel file that allows you to generate certificates of compliance according to EIA 568.3-D.
What is needed is the measurement of the loss of each optical link (to be detected with an optical source-Power meter pair), the length, and the description of the network (how many connectors, how many joints, etc.)
TIER1 produces a professional certificate of compliance for each optical link or for all measured optical links (up to 24), clearly indicating the optical budget and its composition, the measurement taken at the various wavelengths, and the pass/fail rating. The certificate can be printed or converted to a PDF file.
