The new NetXpert XG checks whether cabling supports maximum transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbps, regardless of the category of cables, patch panels, or sockets installed. NetXpert XG provides an accurate statement by automatically running three individual tests that lead to an overall result.
New standards defining data transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbps pose a major challenge for next-generation qualifiers. In particular, wireless access point cabling must support ever-increasing data transmission speeds. To ensure the installed cabling is capable of supporting these increased data transmission speeds, operators must perform appropriate tests before putting the network into service to avoid unpleasant surprises. NetXpert XG allows you to tackle these new challenges now!
New: Real-time loss determination on fiber links
Resistance test to detect contact problems on fiber optic connectors
Easy to use
Continuity test results for all eight cables and the shield are displayed in a color map format, clearly displaying cable faults such as opens, shorts, miswiring, and split pairs. The NetXpert determines cable length and distance to faults by performing a full Time Domain Reflectometer (TDR) measurement combined with a capacitance measurement for greater accuracy.
Quick results
The self-test can be launched from either the main unit or the remote unit, minimizing travel between outlets. If problems arise, wiring tests can be performed individually, minimizing troubleshooting time.
