The WireXpert 500 is an affordable, upgradeable cable certification tester that grows with your certification needs. You can invest only in the options you really need today and upgrade the device later as needed. There are options for certifying copper-only cables up to CAT 6A/Class EA, a Level 1 multimode and singlemode fiber optic certification tester, and a combined copper and fiber certification tester. Individual options can be easily upgraded with a license. For example, if you install copper cabling today and need to install additional fiber cabling in the future, you can upgrade the WireXpert 500 copper certifier to the WireXpert 500-PLUS copper and fiber version. If you need certifications up to CAT 8 in the future, all models can also be upgraded for that frequency range.
