Fiber optic identifier (fiber finder)
This optical fiber identifier (OFI), thanks to a small (reversible) deformation applied to the fiber to be measured, allows to detect the presence of traffic without interrupting the circuit.
The OFI-3 operates on 250 and 900 micron fiber, and on 2 to 3 mm monofibers
The instrument also provides information on the direction of flow and the presence of signals modulated at 270, 1000 or 2000 Hz.
