Fiber optic identifier (fiber finder)
This optical fiber identifier (OFI), thanks to a small (reversible) deformation applied to the fiber to be measured, allows to detect the presence of traffic without interrupting the circuit.
The OFI-5 operates on 250 and 900 micron fiber, and on 2 to 3 mm monofibers
The instrument also automatically recognizes signals modulated at 270, 1000 or 2000 Hz
OFI-5 is equipped with a 10mW VFL (red laser) and a power meter port
