    This optical fiber identifier (OFI), thanks to a small (reversible) deformation applied to the fiber to be measured, allows to detect the presence of traffic without interrupting the circuit.
    The ST3820 operates on 250 and 900 micron fiber, and on 2 to 3 mm single fibers, senza la necessità di sostituire la 'testa'
    The instrument also provides information on the direction of flow and the presence of signals modulated at 270, 1000 or 2000 Hz.
    Built-in 1mW VLF (red laser).

    Questo identificatore di fibre ottiche (OFI), grazie ad una piccola deformazione (reversibile) applicata sulla fibra da misurare, permette di rilevare la presenza di traffico senza interrompere il circuito. L’ST3820 opera su fibra da 250 e 900 micron, e su monofibre da 2 a 3 mm, senza la necessità di sostituire la ‘testa’ Lo strumento fornisce inoltre indicazioni sulla direzione del flusso e sulla presenza di segnali modulati a 270, 1000 o 2000 Hz. VLF (laser rosso) da 1 mW integrato.
